We’re taking a different path with this blog, in the hope that discussing sporting topics will bring enthusiasm back into the profession that I call journalism.
Next week will be my first anniversary as a professional journalist, and the most exciting times I have had as a writer have been when I’m covering a sporting event or something in the athletic realm.
From here on, we’ll try to find stories and topics that have been covered—sometimes ad nauseam—by the media and add my thoughts to them. Whenever possible, I will try to provide a link to the article that garnered my interest.
There is a European Champions League Final to discuss and two North American sports that will be crowing champions in the next six weeks.
Things should get interesting.
